July 5th 2023 Hyderabad: The Telangana State Innovation Cell under the Government of Telangana signed an MoU with NICEorg for fostering the cultural economy of Telangana. The MoU sets the terms and understanding between TSIC and NICEorg to promote Cultural Enterprises & Entrepreneurship in Telangana by jointly strategizing and conducting various programs pertaining to the sector and bringing in significant changes with policy-level intervention.
Shri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary ITE&C Govt of Telangana graced the signing of the MoU between Dr Shanta Thoutam, Chief Innovation Officer and Sanjay Anandaram, Co-Founder NICEorg. Ms Kanchana KV, COO of NICEorg was also present.
Both the organizations will channelize their efforts towards strengthening the ecosystem of Cultural Enterprises and Entrepreneurs in the State with a State Cultural Entrepreneurship Day, and dedicated programs for nurturing cultural enterprises. They will also explore the possibility of establishing an exclusive incubation center for the cultural entrepreneurship ecosystem of innovators, entrepreneurs, funders, corporations, academia and social sector organizations to progress.
