NETWORK OF INDIAN CULTURAL ENTERPRISES (NICEorg), JAIPUR RUGS FOUNDATION (JRF), AND CATALYST ATAL INNOVATION CENTER (CAIC) HAVE JOINED HANDS FOR INDIKA.
This strategic partnership will enable the three organizations to co-curate and deliver a 6-month groundbreaking accelerator program for cultural businesses in the crafts sector. Indika: Crafts Cohort 2024 aims to foster innovation, sustainability, and economic growth within the vibrant landscape of Indian cultural enterprises.
The program will include mentorship, networking opportunities, workshops, and facilitating funding connections to assist cultural enterprises in scaling their operations, adopting innovative technologies, and enhancing their global market presence. Participants will benefit from the combined resources and networks of the three organizations, gaining access to a diverse range of industry leaders, mentors, and investors.
NICEorg with its focus on India’s cultural businesses will play a key role in bringing in deep understanding of the cultural industries in India and the market opportunities to succeed. CAIC, a social impact start-up incubator will help craft enterprises scale through efficient solutions that build capabilities of these enterprises to create greater social impact. The learnings from Jaipur Rugs Foundation, known for its dedication to the upliftment of artisans and sustainable craftsmanship, will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the program.
The 6-month program is designed in a hybrid mode with online mentoring sessions and visits to Jaipur, New Delhi and Bangalore for a 12-member cohort.
