Vyasa Health Care owns and runs an international chain of integrative medicine centers based on the Indian systems of medicine – Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy under the brand name, Vivekananda Health Global.
What was the founder’s dream? Why was there a need to integrate traditional medical systems? What is the Vyasa Health Care business? Read on.

This is her story.
As a medical professional, it was my dream to contribute to the process of creating a healthy society.
Understanding the strengths and limitations of various systems of medicine, I was looking to bring in the best by complementing the different systems of healing – primarily Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy.
Mainstreaming these systems and integrating them with conventional methodologies is crucial for better patient care. The integration helps in bridging the gap between conventional medicine and traditional healing methods.
Initially, the challenge was to understand the need to integrate Ayurveda, Yoga therapy and Naturopathy.
Having trained in both Ayurveda and Yoga therapy, the need to integrate the two was apparent to me. I became confident in the integrated approach after we saw better recoveries and reduced recurrences of medical problems with it.
During this journey, I was keen to understand the application of Naturopathy since I was intrigued by the discussions at home with my husband, Dr. Manjunath. He is a Naturopathy physician, Yoga researcher and is also the founder of Vyasa Health Care. So, we started by introducing Acupuncture for pain management. Gradually, at the OPD level, we introduced other Naturopathy treatments too.
Thus was born Vyasa Health Care.
At Vivekananda Health Global, health and well-being management is a science:
While our evidence-based approach with functional integration of multi-medical systems forms the foundation, our research is the backbone.
We examine the patient’s health, illness and mind-body harmony and prescribe the ideal solution. Each consultation with our doctors is ‘personalized’ with a holistic prescription that includes medicines, treatments, therapeutic Yoga, diet, and lifestyle management to create a comprehensive and integrative solution for your complete well-being.
Over the 6 years, we have grown to 10 centers, treated 8330+ patients, done 16000+ consultations and offered over 45000 therapies!
Headquartered in Bengaluru, our centers are spread across Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Trivandrum within India. Our overseas centers are in Shanghai, Seoul, and New York.
Good relief with long-lasting results and cost-effective yet commercially viable customized therapies with no side effects make our brand a unique healthcare enterprise.
Inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, we have evolved a process of transforming healthcare at a global level through Integrative Medicine.
Our products are innovated using the principles of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy and are evidence-based to enrich traditional healthcare delivery.
Produced using traditional concepts such as Panchamahaboota, VHG products include soaps, shampoos and other personal care items.
Our customers are typically 20-40 years of age.
Our challenge is two-fold.
So, it becomes our responsibility to educate our customers about the usefulness of the traditional systems. This is where our evidence-based approach and inpatient care have added value. They have helped our customers understand that we are empirically evaluating the interventions.
Our detailed consultations and explanations have built their confidence in our system.
My Doctoral work has helped me enormously in charting this path at VHG.
As we all know, India has a rich cultural heritage. Since we have chosen to promote traditional Indian medical systems, we must stay true and practice what we preach. Our actions must reflect our intent.
Growth is possible only with consistent efforts coupled with passion and perseverance. We must mold our ambition at different stages to achieve our goals.
One word – elation! The win came as a rejuvenator after a year of lows! It has motivated us and strengthened our vision of growing the business this year.
The whole process starting from the call for the BPC to the selection to mentoring and to the final pitch was thoroughly planned. At every step, Team NICE helped us extensively and added great value.
