He worked closely with skilled artisans proficient in this art form, learning their techniques and immersing himself in its nuances. The artisanal mastery and storytelling nature of Mata ni Pachedi resonated deeply with Sourav, fueling his desire to create designs that were not just visually striking but also carried a profound narrative.

After completing his studies, Sourav embarked on a path that allowed him to work with celebrated designers and fashion brands. These valuable experiences exposed him to different design philosophies, techniques, and industry standards. Collaborating with seasoned professionals provided him with an understanding of the fashion industry and business insights. He also honed his skills as a designer.

However, it was his interactions with artisans that left an indelible mark on Sourav’s creative journey. Working closely with these skilled craftsmen, he gained a deeper understanding of the intricate craft techniques passed down through generations. This hands-on experience instilled in him a deep respect for the artisans’ mastery and a commitment to preserving their traditional craftsmanship.

Additionally, Sourav has explored the intricate art of Meenakari work, a form of enameling on jewelry that was favored by the Mughals. . By translating this ancient craft into textile designs, he has added a touch of royal elegance to his saris.

Beyond artisanal clusters, he has built partnerships with eminent digital personalities as well such as Malvika Mohanan, which has enhanced Das’s brand visibility.
